Samsung's new P10 Smd LED screen is a high refresh rate LCD touch screen with built-in S Pen. When you first look at the P10 Smd LED screen, you may be disheartened to find that it is not the highest resolution LCD screen on the market. However, after taking it home and setting it up, I realized that there were actually some pretty good things about the screen. The full color capability of the S Pen enables you to use the display as if you are viewing an image in full color. The Pen Wheel functionality allows you to set a specific point in the display for switching between different image formats such as Pagerank, Web favorites, or MMS. This feature is extremely handy, because there are times when you want to view a specific image and do not want to switch from viewing the JPEG image to viewing the full-color photograph.
One of the other really neat features that I really like about the P10 Smd LED screen is the complete hardware calibration. The Samsung P10 Smd has the ability to measure a pixel for display and it has the highest level of precision when it comes to displaying that measurement. This is because the pixel pitch has been increased from 10mm to a very high brightness level of over 1000cd. The result of this is that there is no need for any other image processing functions to take place.
The high brightness and the high pixel pitch make the display of the Samsung P10 Smd LED easier to read than other LCD displays. This is because of the wide color gamut that is available. In fact, the wide color gamut is one of the reasons why this led display is so popular with photographers and other image conscious consumers.
